Wheaties look out

I’ve been totally lame about cooking dinner the past few weeks, so my husband offered to get Chinese takeout. It must’ve been fate because this was my cookie fortune:

I’m taking this to heart as I move forward in training for my next marathon.

I still hope to write up a recap of the Wineglass Marathon, if for no other reason than to commemorate it.

In the meantime, I’ve set up a Strava account if anyone wants to follow along with my training. And if you’re on Strava, I’d like to follow your training as well!

  1. haha … I bought one week’s worth of groceries two weeks ago, and barely needed to replenish anything last weekend … and will spend <$50 tomorrow replenishing. totally get it 🙂

Oh – and our son comes home for the weekend 🙂

  2. That’s NUTS! I JUST literally downloaded the Strava app on my phone. No clue how to use it and sync with my Garmin though….
And as much as failure stinks (I happen to fail with flair – I go big or go home), you always learn from it. I’m hoping I don’t learn too much in Florida 🙂 🙂 🙂
I know some peeps who are going to Kiawah, let me know if you need someone to hang with before the race!

  3. I love that sentiment! It’s definitely a good mantra to push you to that upcoming BQ I know you have in you.
I had Strava for awhile, but not all my runs were synching so I deleted it to see if that would fix it, but then I got lazy and forgot. So I will probably do that in the near future. The features on it are very cool, and I love spying on my running friends.

Have your say
