20130111-122804.jpgToday my baby turned 18. He’s become quite a wonderful young man. He still has much to learn, hurdles to leap. But I think life will be good for him. Because he is good to life.

It’s anew chapter for my husband and I as well. We’ll be facing an empty nest soon. It will be important for us to adjust to being parents to someone who doesn’t need us so much, who may make choices we would not, who may choose to not come home much. It’s scary, but it is how it should be.

And maybe my husband and I can finally take a vacation together.
